Day 14 onwards

Nothing much to post about , its been editing all the way the editors did their job and we just sat behind giving ideas on how to improve them stil it was nice to have the company of the group , soon P2 is going to end just hope everything goes smoothly till the end . Finally the Video is out rendered it haha i think there is lots of room to improve especaiily the narrative structure part , technical wise i think we are all pretty satisfied with the shoots guess this is what you call hardwork pays off eventually

Cheers to ZHAI team hope we get to work together again and cheers to P2 . Look forward to the next big thing SIP rets go

Day 13

Indoor shoots today and we have another track shoot on cheryl playing piano or should i say faking it lol anyway the track shoot in was brillant the ambience was there thanks to the team again lighting was brillant hope the timing was just right tracking in .



anyway shoot of the day must of been cheryl looking into the mirror and acting like she was currasing her reflection , it was super disturbing so disturbing that i placed it as the shoot of the day lol .



Production went smoothly and we packed up and left the place on time . Finally i am confident there is enough footages to play around with and the shoots are really nicely done up lets move on to editing

Day 12

Production again man am i in love with this crew everyone's working well haha crew and cast call time at 9 am but ain , jacen our beatiful cast han jing and i went down first to set up and get prepared for later's shoot first while yumi and amy waited for the other cast before joining us there . First thing when we reach everyone's motivation just reached its peak can see from ain and jacen's expression they are ready man woots our talents was smart too when we were all mesmerized by the location she asked me whether the accesories form the lalang shoot was needed to be worn oh man how can everyone of us forget haha luckily our cast is smart man thanks han jing and so no contiuity error heng arh . haha and jacen is chiongster sia this morning early morning 6 am only he went to get tracks liao you have my respect man cause waking up so early is my forte i only can don't sleep lol .



First time using tracks cause its called begginers luck everyday went smoothly haha weather's great shoots were ZHAI ( awesome) totally love the tracking shoot . Then yumi got this idea of using the mirror we found abandoned to do a upside down shoot man i love it jacen did that shoot just love it man its something unusual .



Today is happy day weather's great shoots are nice ZHAI ARH haha our favourite words this days lol .

day 11

Ok today location recceeing again . Went along with Yumi and Jacen , Ain and amy had some matters to attend so can't come its all right we understand . The first location was the secondary school hmmm the place wasn't bad I liked the pavilion , the library wasn't really suitable i though but anyway we needed to get the consent from the principal , and he didnt seem very supportive of the idea , and so we kind of abandoned the whole concept of it and instead decided to work with what we have .



Had lunch together woots recommended by Yumi pong the noodles of pasir ris crest lol . After that we slack a while tried on shirt at fresh box and went startbucks man CHAI TEA MAKES ME HIGH haha unbelievable haha anyway we randomly talk about this topic of some random location yumi came across and so since the amy's friend house can only be vistied at night we decided to check it out and man were we glad we went wootts the location was perfect its better than lalang field and thank god it rained haha if not we wouldnt have found this location .This cannot be unveiled yet we deicided to keep it a mystery till screening woots so no pics will be shown lol .



Finally the final location amy's friend house haha the place was awesome can u believe our luck anyway its just great planned a bit of the shoots the place just makes u do that subconciously . Great location personally like her bedroom most especially the mirror .



thats it today feels a bit sore still looking forward though :D

day 11

Day 10

We Checked the weather forecast and oh my oh my its not going to stop raining till next week man this is bad our lalang field scene isn't done yet .anyway today's plan is to transfer footages and try to check the quality and edit a bit see how it feels . Lots of hope turned to dust in the end . Our footages are limited and there are lots of missing links in between . the outcome wasn't what we expect it to be like .



Futhuremore it lasted only 1 mins plus . no choice but to reshoot and add more shoots . Twist the storyline and ehance it with more evidence . In the end we decided to add more shoots and scenes to make the topic more impactful . it feels like a restart but we are in this together .



ZHAI never give up .

Day 4

Tommorow's interim 1 . Never did pre production so quickly before , its kind of rushed and stressed . Jacen and i are pretty worried about the script and stuff anyway we assigned roles already haha but think we will be mixing roles up anyway since we are all still learning mainly i will be DOP and PM alongside Yumi haha DOP fun haha



everyone chiped in to make the powerpoint and script and stuff production schedule , wardrobe storyboard and shotsplan and discussed about the leftovers Ain volunteered to get those white pure dresses haha yea great everythings settled and we are ready lol .



Everything's smooth again woots shiok man lol . ZHAI arh ZHAI TEAM haha

Day 5

Interim 1 today . we proposed our final idea to julian and asked for feedbacks which i thought was informative and helpful like the idea of cutting back to reality from the surreal and fantasy part of the story using a black screen and audio of door slaming was impactful . also he highlighted our main strengths and requirements we need to take note for our piece to work out well as well which i thought was infromative .



After that we hang out in the canteen waiting for time to pass before we meet up with our cast . My motivation for the production opps lol i and jacen were joking that if this were to be a gay film we wouldn't be so motivated haha just kidding . anyway we meet up with our cast as planned and yumi and amy who saw them the first time too feels they are right for the role . In my opinion they are pretty well suited just hope they can act well . Ain briefly brief them about their roles respectively and everyone introduced themselve to the cast and everyone just mixed around get used to each other since we would be working together for the nxt few weeks .

Day 8

Production day sia woots body ache liao lol wahaha but having lots of fun and highly motivated think this will turn out nice . Called the floral shop owner to inform her of our arrival . since its raining once more we swopped to plan B and thats to shoot all indoor shoots . Cabbed down wah budget bursting liao but no choice lots of equipments .



Floral shop was easy and everything went pretty smoothly but my arms are seriously aching and its hand held shoot haha . Gaffer J ( jacen ) thanks man your lighting is ZHAI de made the floral shop look evening and romanctic . Ain also did a good job directing cheryl like she always does . And so we camp there for a while b4 leaving for our next destination the house scene , the one i waiting for hehe got surprise there .



Lol was worried along the journey cause there was a sort of last minute change in the location of the house and we never really been there and so the shoots we planned might not be used but hope we can make it . Told the team about my worries , luckily Ain , Yumi and jacen assured me everything go smoothly thanks team and although amy didnt say much i know you also was worried from your tense look the whole evening .



Finally reached our destination . Man have to thank Gaffer J ( jacen ) again man and the team of course the setting is Zhai de lor make my job much easier lol wardrobe was good , setting was better , lighitng was awesome man we are rdy to go lol everything went smooth man until my hand seriously cannot stand it . luckily jacen was equally adept at using the camera and he volunteered to help me in camera work and ask me to rest first thanks dude , we switch job for a while and it was a great help .





Day 2 end haha thats fast and i want to finish this nicely man got a feeling its got to turn out nice looking forward to more production days . Rets do it ZHAI arhhhhh

Day 7

we went out for shoot today at lalang as planned , the weather looks fantastic at first . Everything went smoothly according to what we had planned . Talents were cooperating well with us but dark clouds started to gather and the lighting started to get dimmer and soon enough it started raining . We tried to wait for the rain to go away but it came pouring down heavier and so we had no choice but to cancel shoot and reschedule it onto wednesday .

Day 3 (Location Recce)

Today Jacen and I went to scout for locations to shoot and here are some pictures of the locations we intend to use .
