We Checked the weather forecast and oh my oh my its not going to stop raining till next week man this is bad our lalang field scene isn't done yet .anyway today's plan is to transfer footages and try to check the quality and edit a bit see how it feels . Lots of hope turned to dust in the end . Our footages are limited and there are lots of missing links in between . the outcome wasn't what we expect it to be like .
Futhuremore it lasted only 1 mins plus . no choice but to reshoot and add more shoots . Twist the storyline and ehance it with more evidence . In the end we decided to add more shoots and scenes to make the topic more impactful . it feels like a restart but we are in this together .
ZHAI never give up .

Day 4
Tommorow's interim 1 . Never did pre production so quickly before , its kind of rushed and stressed . Jacen and i are pretty worried about the script and stuff anyway we assigned roles already haha but think we will be mixing roles up anyway since we are all still learning mainly i will be DOP and PM alongside Yumi haha DOP fun haha
everyone chiped in to make the powerpoint and script and stuff production schedule , wardrobe storyboard and shotsplan and discussed about the leftovers Ain volunteered to get those white pure dresses haha yea great everythings settled and we are ready lol .
Everything's smooth again woots shiok man lol . ZHAI arh ZHAI TEAM haha

Day 5
Interim 1 today . we proposed our final idea to julian and asked for feedbacks which i thought was informative and helpful like the idea of cutting back to reality from the surreal and fantasy part of the story using a black screen and audio of door slaming was impactful . also he highlighted our main strengths and requirements we need to take note for our piece to work out well as well which i thought was infromative .
After that we hang out in the canteen waiting for time to pass before we meet up with our cast . My motivation for the production opps lol i and jacen were joking that if this were to be a gay film we wouldn't be so motivated haha just kidding . anyway we meet up with our cast as planned and yumi and amy who saw them the first time too feels they are right for the role . In my opinion they are pretty well suited just hope they can act well . Day 8
Production day sia woots body ache liao lol wahaha but having lots of fun and highly motivated think this will turn out nice . Called the floral shop owner to inform her of our arrival . since its raining once more we swopped to plan B and thats to shoot all indoor shoots . Cabbed down wah budget bursting liao but no choice lots of equipments .
Floral shop was easy and everything went pretty smoothly but my arms are seriously aching and its hand held shoot haha . Gaffer J ( jacen ) thanks man your lighting is ZHAI de made the floral shop look evening and romanctic . Ain also did a good job directing cheryl like she always does . And so we camp there for a while b4 leaving for our next destination the house scene , the one i waiting for hehe got surprise there .
Lol was worried along the journey cause there was a sort of last minute change in the location of the house and we never really been there and so the shoots we planned might not be used but hope we can make it . Told the team about my worries , luckily Ain , Yumi and jacen assured me everything go smoothly thanks team and although amy didnt say much i know you also was worried from your tense look the whole evening .
Finally reached our destination . Man have to thank Gaffer J ( jacen ) again man and the team of course the setting is Zhai de lor make my job much easier lol wardrobe was good , setting was better , lighitng was awesome man we are rdy to go lol everything went smooth man until my hand seriously cannot stand it . luckily jacen was equally adept at using the camera and he volunteered to help me in camera work and ask me to rest first thanks dude , we switch job for a while and it was a great help .

Day 7
we went out for shoot today at lalang as planned , the weather looks fantastic at first . Everything went smoothly according to what we had planned . Talents were cooperating well with us but dark clouds started to gather and the lighting started to get dimmer and soon enough it started raining . We tried to wait for the rain to go away but it came pouring down heavier and so we had no choice but to cancel shoot and reschedule it onto wednesday .

Day 2(Pre Production)
Day 2 we came together as a group and discuss about our individual stories and consulted julian about each of our individual stories i think everyone's story was kind of cool . But after julian's consultation the stories he deemed good were tough to execute according to him and hence we came together as a group to discuss about what we really wanted to do .
Drum rolls please........ and we decided it would be on homosexuality and the moral of the story evolves around looks are decptive .
Basically its evolves around the story of this perfect girl who is pressurized by her mother to be what she wasn't when she was young and wants her to married to a rich guy and be a high class society people . Under this perfect girl named Dawn there is this hidden secret that she is lesbian and because of her love for her mother she studies hard and takes up alot of CCA to be the perfect girl on the appearance but deep down there is this different side that she is actually decieving her mother all the way and that she isn't the perfect girl everyone knows .
